Diamond is a song I wrote about finding someone so special they are like a 'rare gem' to me, but in a way that is much deeper than just the external glimmer. The chorus is about a diamond, which is the symbolism for marriage. This song is a reminder to cherish love in marriage "because a diamond is always a diamond."

There for You is a song about the feeling when you put in the work in your life and begin to have doubts about the outcomes. It's a reminder that the outcomes do not matter as much as the process. Love Never Fails is a song that I wrote after watching the movie Encanto. It's a really great movie that struck me as being so similar to those I work with in therapy and people in general. To me, the theme of the movie is that we can feel left out, lost, and disconnected, which can turn to anger; however, love will never fail us when we embrace it. "It's the greatest story to tell, that Love Never Fails"

While the song has evolved slightly since then, the core of this song remains, which is that sometimes all we need is someone to be there for us in a genuine, open, and caring way. Jealous Weapons is a cautionary tale of how jealousy can impact a person and their relationships. It is a reminder that we need not let jealousy rule, but rather we can all learn how to be ourselves and live in harmony with one another.

I was inspired to write Watercolor Love after I was surprised with the gift of a beautiful watercolor painting. I contemplated the idea of watercolor paintings, which led me to morph the idea into a love song. It's a song about blending together with someone special in love. "Let the colors run like you and me into each other."
