Only Takes One is a song I wrote during the depths of the Covid pandemic when society came across a number of break-ups. I wanted to write a song that inspired a ray of hope in the midst of a break-up.

Meaning:

Be Uniting is a song I wrote in the mid 2010's. I wanted to write a song that was a reminder that deep down we all want to love and feel loved rather than be at odds and fight with each other. We can find ways to meet in the middle and come to resolutions rather than dogmatically claim that one thing can be right all the time across all contexts regardless of what side you are on. My hometown friend, Jelani Remy, graciously agreed to sing with me on my song and I could not be more thrilled with how beautiful the song came out!

Love Yourself, Too is a song I wrote about the importance of trying to love yourself while also trying to love others. How we think, feel, act, and relate with others is often a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. It's a lifelong journey learning how to understand, appreciate, and love ourselves, but it's a worthwhile journey!

Place Called Home is a song about a genuine love where you share a space that is most comfortable to you. It's about having a sacred space called 'home', wherever that is, that you share with one another.

Shining From Within is a song I wrote getting sober. It's written from the perspective of someone who cares deeply about the person trying to get sober.
